Description
Wetsel Seed™ Kentucky Blue Pole Garden Beans Seed
1/2lb
This pole bean plant has a magnificent dark green color and has a high yield. This type of bean grows easily in all parts of the country and tastes great when eaten fresh; or can be canned or frozen when the pods are young.
Select a sunny location and plant after danger of frost. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth soil with rake. Firm soil over seed and keep moist. Support climbing pole beans with trellis, poles, string, or fence. Cultivate or mulch to control seeds. Keep soil moist but do not over water. Pick when young (6-7 in./15-18 cm.) for optimum flavor and texture. Some may grow to 10 in./25 cm. with still good quality, but light string may develop as they mature.
Seed Variety: Beans, Kentucky Blue Pole
Botanical Name: Phaseolus vulgaris

Planting Depth: 1-1/2 in.
Seed Spacing: 3-4 in.
