Description
Hi-Yield® Iron Plus Soil Acidifier 11-0-0
4lb - Granules
Hi-Yield® Iron Plus Soil Acidifier 11-0-0 is a fast-acting soil additive that contains a pelletized material to correct the yellowing of plants and grass. It is specifically designed for alkaline and calcareous soils, helping to address excessive alkalinity that leads to issues like lack of normal plant coloration, stunted growth, poor flowering and fruiting, and reduced response to fertilization. Proper use of this product can be beneficial for roses, azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias, potted plants, lawns, trees, shrubs, and citrus. The best part is that it will not burn grasses and plants when used as directed. It can be conveniently applied using a drop or broadcast (rotary) spreader. The ratio of nitrogen, sulfur, and iron, provides essential nutrients to support healthy plant growth. After application, it is essential to water thoroughly for optimal results. For lawns, the label should be consulted for alkalinity guidelines. For shrubs, apply 4 tablespoons per average shrub in the top 2-4 inches of soil, while for trees up to 3 inches in trunk diameter, use 12 tablespoons, and for trees with 4 inches or more in trunk diameter, apply 16 tablespoons. For the latter, distribute the product equally in holes 10 to 12 inches deep around the drip line of the tree for effective treatment.
