Summary: Trimming & Pruning by UNITED LANDSCAPE SVC At UNITED LANDSCAPE SVC, we recently completed a transformative Trimming & Pruning in the heart of Lexington, KY. We revised and rejuvenated the client's lush garden oasis. We took on an assortment of overgrown shrubs, trees, and ornamental plants using various types of pruning techniques to improve the natural beauty of the landscape, while being sure to maintain the health and life of each specimen. The began with a detailed assessment of the existing vegetation, with particular attention placed on areas in need of attention. We made thoughtful decisions our use of high-quality pruning tools and eco-friendly treatments to mitigate the stress placed on the plants. The challenge became the visual balance of the overall look of the site and addressing growth patterns, particularly with a large, mature oak tree, which has typically become overbearing. Our talented landscapers spent time visualizing and carefully shaping the tree's canopy-hence permitting more light to penetrate the understory plants and create healthier conditions to stimulate growth. Many decisions during the revolved around standardization and sustainability, within the purpose of using any trimmings either for composting or repurposing, in-turn avoiding waste, and checking the sustainability of the soil for the purpose of future plant growth. We were excited to see the outcome as it was effectively a gorgeous and beautifully manicured garden that produced both an aesthetically pleasing product, as anticipated, and exceeded our client's expectations. The end result was a lively and inviting outdoor space that showcased the client's desired flora, while restoring balance with respect to the surrounding landscape. The outdoor space once again rejoined the home to the outdoor experience and hosted positive energy through light breezes, with sunshine inducing warmth and comfort! Our client shared their delight-for their inability to even realize how much visibility there was to the sentient objects growing in the garden, and expressed considerations for that openness being conducive to enhancing the relaxation and entertainment brought back to the outdoor space.
