Back Yard Patios - Clean Cut Lawn & Landscape Recently, Clean Cut Lawn & Landscape took on a beautiful landscaping called "Back Yard Patios" in east central Indiana. This backyard patio was intended to create a tranquil outdoor retreat that could be used for relaxation or entertaining guests. The began by meeting with the homeowners to gain an understanding of their ideas for the patio. The final design specified natural stone pavers combined with permeable interlocking bricks. After discussing with the clients we decided on durable, locally sourced materials that complemented the surrounding natural environment while withstanding the typical Indiana seasonal changes. One challenge was the unevenness of the backyard. Our skilled team graded the site, maintaining the natural contours of the landscape to create a level surface on which to work. We also incorporated drainage around the patio to eliminate water pooling and protect the surfaces of the patio. We also included landscaping components in the perennial flower beds and shrubs of native plants that framed the patio, and added beauty while providing habitat for local wildlife. We also included ambient lights for evening gatherings to make the space usable, no matter what time of day it was. The final result is a beautiful back yard patio that both met the functional purposes of the clients and enhanced their outdoor living space. The clients were ecstatic the patio transformation complimenting Clean Cut Lawn & Landscape for their work ethic, craftsmanship and attention to detail. It was an enjoyable to take on, an exemplary for our continued focus on quality, creativity and client satisfaction - as we made their outdoor space dreams a reality!
