Landscaping by Ground Builders Ground Builders recently completed a beautiful landscaping in downtown Omaha, reflecting our effort in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful environments that push the boundaries of beauty and functionality. This reflected a combination of contemporary design and natural aesthetics with a robust planting palette of natives and ornamental plants, elegant hardscaping, and sustainable materials. The landscaping design included a carefully chosen arrangement of native perennials, garden plants, and ornamental grasses to improve the curb appeal while encouraging a biodiverse habitat. We chose quality eco-friendly mulch and a natural stone for the path and patio area, ensuring durability while creating a seamless transition from one space to another in the garden. One of the most obstacle challenges we met was the existing grade of the property. This required a grading plan, along with some simple retaining wall work. Our talented team came up with a solution, by creating tiered planting beds. The beds met the slope requirement and created visuals to the landscape. The final result is an inviting outdoor space with a cozy patio sitting area to entertain, lined with plants and established colorful flowering plants that bloom continuously. The property owner was thrilled with the final outcome, sharing that the detail and blend of functional spaces for comfort and enjoyment were better than anticipated.
