Paving Walkways by Viking Pavers, Inc. In the exciting San Francisco Bay Area, Viking Pavers, Inc. recently finished an incredible landscaping called 'Paving Walkways' where we helped a client reimagine their yard into a tranquil and usable space. Viking Pavers, Inc. designed and installed beautifully crafted walkways and paths through the landscape that contributed to presence and access to the surroundings of the property. The path design was comprised of interlocking pavers and natural stone. The team chose these materials for their durability and classic aesthetic. Viking Pavers, Inc. then chose a palette of colors that would fit naturally with the surrounding elements of flora on the property. Keeping some elements of the flora was important to our clients, so it was important for the color palette to be harmonious with the verdant setting but still offer stunning contrast to the design. Each paver was hand-cut and crafted according to detail and craftsmanship to ensure the pavers were laid perfectly and represented complex patterns - in character to which the family had envisioned as balancing the landscaping. The property presented terrain considerations that were both entertaining and challenging. Our landscape team had to take advantage of more current methods of leveling and excavation to create an unquestionable foundation, therefore they were reasonable solid with regards to the walkway pattern but also visually pleasing in the overall design. The Viking Pavers, Inc. team also included some subtle drainage mechanisms to ensure that water does not accumulate from a storm lingering on the paths - of which protected the walkways and landscaping. The end result, was quite breathtaking. The owners of the property continued the after installing the paths, so this not only provided a safe, entertaining way of walking through the garden but it also offered the family a place to gather outdoors and be present in their elements.
