What began as a functional outdoor space, has been transformed into a beautiful, picturesque retreat that blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty of the region. The Landscape Gallery included a careful selection of native plants, made flower beds with consideration, and the enhancement of hardscape features. We used the highest quality materials and local stone for the paths and sitting areas, which offers durability along with rustic charm that compliments the landscape. The custom-built retaining walls were functional in nature and enhanced the topography and flow of the space while keeping a high standard of craftsmanship we hold ourselves to. While there are always challenges with s in Indiana, in this case, it was the variety of soil conditions along with considerations for drainage. With planning and innovative solutions, we created a unique and sophisticated irrigation system that encourages growth while conserving water. The attention to detail provided every plant the opportunity to grow and fill the space with beautiful colors throughout the seasons. In the end, the Landscape Gallery came to life beyond what we imagined and exceeded the customers expectations. A profusion of flowering shrubs, fragrant ornamental grasses, and perennial plant material now create a feeling of a lush, inviting outdoor living room. Boulders were placed in strategic areas along and around decorative gravel paths providing both beauty and functionality. The peaceful and pleasant atmosphere is a wonderful spot to host family and friends, or for an in-home retreat spent under the stars.
