About This Project

The Waters Edge Condominiums project involved a comprehensive renovation of 17 decks across a well-established condominium complex, transforming the outdoor living spaces for each owner. The primary objective was to replace the aging, rotting decks with modern, durable installations that not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the complex but also ensured longevity and safety for its residents. To achieve this, we selected Trex decking, a material renowned for its resilience and low maintenance requirements. The choice of Trex not only provides a sleek and contemporary look but also offers superior resistance to weathering and wear, making it an ideal solution for the Pacific Northwest's variable climate. Complementing the decking, we incorporated aluminum railings with glass panels, which contribute to an unobstructed view of the surrounding landscape while adding a touch of elegance to each deck. This combination of materials was carefully chosen to reflect a modern design ethos while ensuring that the decks would stand the test of time.
