About This Project

'Park' by T&J Landscape Services T&J Landscape Services is excited to share the 'Park' , a large-scale located in Northwest Indiana, serving Lake and Porter Counties in Indiana as well as Will and Cook in Illinois. The 'Park' was designed with creating a peaceful, welcoming space focused on community, naturally integrated with the surroundings. This included a combination of native plants, colorful flowers, and trees to provide shade and habitat. Our team hand-picked quality materials such as permeable pavers for walkways not only to engage in good water management, but to create an aesthetic. Additionally, to define space and create visual interest, we built an eye-catching stone retaining wall which served as a good anchoring mechanism for the soil. One of the large roadblocks was that the site had a lot of areas with elevated terrain which took grading and drainage. Our team worked to evaluate and implement work arounds to create a long-lasting space while providing safe access to visitors. The has a beautiful park with winding paths, seating, and a variety of canopy trees designed to be an inviting space to be viewed to share with members of the community. The finishing touch was custom-built picnic tables made of reclaimed wood which added a rustic touch to the trail and park. Overall, the client was excited to hear how happy we were with how it turned out including their appreciation of the work we did and attention to detail. The 'Park' will serve the community, and is a to be proud of for T&J Landscape Services, and we accomplished our work to make a space backyard, beautiful, and practical.
