Our team successfully incorporated an amazing variety of plant species, including colorful perennials, ornamental grasses, and native shrub species, to develop a lush and hardy landscape that would bloom and thrive in every season. The careful selection of enabling plant choices was further enhanced with the local selection of stone for the retaining walls and fieldstone for the walkways and patios, which provided added beauty and function to the overall design allowing for movement through the space with success. Among several site challenges the biggest challenge was the unlevel terrain of the site itself, which needed attention to manage the flow of water drainage properly. The team proposed to the homeowner a complicated grading/slope to channel water, as well as installed rain gardens in the vicinity - for a design that encouraged healthy rain water process into the landscaping for sustainable water management to support the longevity of the landscaping without harming the natural ecosystem. The end result was stunning and the homeowners were thrilled with how the hardscapes and the softscapes came together to create livable areas in-between the home areas for relaxation and requests. From the custom patio at the developed outdoor hearth area through to the beautiful flower beds, 'Stunning Landscapes' exemplifies Bachman's Landscaping & Garden Services claims to quality and diversified landscaping design and execution. Not only did this enhance the curb appeal of the home, but it also created relaxing holocations for the homeowners to enjoy.
