The Moss Residence, located in the serene Chastain Park of Atlanta, GA, is a stunning example of transitional design that beautifully merges contemporary elegance with coastal inspiration. This living room has been expertly crafted to reflect the client's love for the water and beach, creating a tranquil yet sophisticated environment. The focal point of the space is the custom driftwood matte finish on the wide white oak hardwood floors, which not only enhances the natural light but also adds warmth and character to the room. Above the stone fireplace, a feather décor object serves as a striking artistic element, while the modern glass and antique brass light fixture adds an elegant touch, seamlessly blending functionality with style. The choice of a hair-on-hide rug underfoot introduces a layer of texture, complementing the overall aesthetic while providing comfort. A carefully curated grouping of custom watercolors by Amity Perry adorns the walls, infusing the space with a personal touch that resonates with the client’s affinity for coastal beauty.
