The Marietta Ranch Renovation/Expansion project transformed a 1960s brick ranch house into a modern living space that harmoniously blends contemporary design with the home’s original charm. Spearheaded by Brian Patterson Designs, Inc., and executed by Tailored Traditional Homes under the guidance of Trace Watkins, this extensive renovation was executed in phases to ensure a meticulous approach to each element of the home. At the heart of this renovation was the creation of an open-plan layout that redefined the flow of the living spaces. The kitchen, a focal point of the home, was completely reimagined to incorporate a large island, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics. The design features sleek, contemporary flush cabinetry in sophisticated gray tones, which complements the striking white quartz countertops. A tumbled marble feature wall serves as a stunning backsplash, adding texture and elegance to the space. Built-in shelving was also designed to showcase the homeowner’s ceramic dishware, providing both storage and a personalized touch to the kitchen environment.
