The 's first steps were to deeply consult the client to learn the vision they wanted and what the site offered, the characteristics which were the sloping land and the varied sunlight exposure on the site. We crafted a large curved entry walkway made from professional quality permeable pavers that looked good but was also designed to drain properly. These newly installed pavers are very warm earthy tones, which match nicely with the pavers, allowing the transition from the pathway to the landscape to exist naturally. With vigorous blooms of flowing native plant choices, we designed tiered flower beds dotted with seasonal explosions of color and texture. Importantly, ornamental grasses and low-maintenance shrubs are included for visual impact but low maintenance for the busy homeowner! Not only do the natural boulders add character, but due to the slope they are actually a functioning retaining wall. Lighting was an important element of the design energy-efficient LED fixtures are seamlessly integrated along the path to light the way for residents while showcasing the beauty of the landscaping at night. This considerate addition improves safety and allows for an inviting environment for evening activities. This concludes with us having an amazing looking entrance that has been completed up to the expectations our client requested but that put our expectations even higher than the clients.
