Our team planned a colorful, drought-tolerant landscape with a variety of native shrubs and flowering perennials suitable for the Southern California climate. The use of natural stone walkways and decorative boulders were all used, in a way to create eye-catching points of interest throughout the property. While building irrigation systems that are more eco-friendly will also help to keep the water efficient as this is an even a step which is a part of their pledge towards sustainability. We encountered some hurdles such as building on a slope, and not being able to bring heavy machinery into most of the site. But, our trusted crew delivered exceptionally well with some creative grading methods and hand tools to sculpt the lay of the land. By keeping this in mind we were able to form tiered flower beds that created layers and in turn also accentuated the property’s architecture. The end result a stunning landscape that the client wildly praised.
