Serene Residential Retreat Space Groundscapes, Inc. Serenity & Calm Residential Retreat Patio Groundscapes, Inc. an award-winning landscape design/build company in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada is excited to present this sustainably landscaped suburban retreat space. Positioned in Central Omaha, it is a testament to our design and craftsmanship innovation. The retreat is very softscape and hardscape in nature with a winding path made of natural flagstone winding through a garden composed of a multitude of native perennials and also ornamental grasses. Refilling this flora enhances the attractiveness, supports native biodiversity and provides a peaceful moment spent watching for butterflies and birds. Our experienced site staff navigated solutions for the hilly topography with a tiered garden using locally sourced stone and biodegradable mulch. In addition to creating some visual interest, the three-level layout is also great for minimizing pool drainage problems and prolongs the life of the planting beds. A solid timber pergola offering a shady place to enjoy a rest. Boulders provide natural beauty as well as extra seating. An installation for the final was designed to focus the space around a calm water feature. The sound of the water flowing perfectly complements the calm, causing the homeowners to relax and be reminded of nature. The end result was an impressive landscape that not only matches the clients vision, however, enhances the entire neighborhood.
