Hardscaping with Froio's Lawn & Landscape From all of us at Froio's Lawn & Landscape, here is our newest hardscaping we designed and installed in beautiful Chester County, Delaware County, and Montgomery County, Pa. The completed has transformed an ordinary backyard into a magnificent retreat and has improved the outdoor living space in this residential property. We started by looking at the dream with the client, taking it all in, incorporating what could be salvaged, and assessing the present site which proved challenging due to its gradient and unevenness. We built a multi-layered patio using natural stone pavers, interlocking bricks, and solid concrete, utilizing high quality materials consistent with the outside landscape. The centerpiece was a custom-built fire pit, circled by beautiful seating that served as a destination for the two when they hosted guests as well as when they simply wanted to unwind and spend time outside by themselves, night after night. To provide this functionality, pathways that articulated a way through the garden were added; via use of pavers designed to be easily permeable to promote drainage and reduce runoff. This can help beautify the environment while also addressing environmental issues. We also had to deal with the issue of draining a couple of the slopes, which we managed with a series of retaining walls. The end result was nothing less than spectacular. These textures, colors, and functions made a cohesive outdoor space that was catered to the client needs. By refining everything for perfection, we made sure our clients were very happy, so they could enjoy a haven outdoors for years to come.
