Spring Flowers by City & Estate Gardener Here at City & Estate Gardener, we are pleased to showcase the latest landscaping installation 'Spring Flowers', a vibrant that beautified the outdoor spaces at a family home located in the heart of Providence. The exemplifies our mission of delivering quality, creativity, and consideration for detail in the services we provided for clients throughout Barrington, Cranston, East Providence, Lincoln, Pawtucket, Reoboth, Riverside, Rumford, and Warwick. The 'Spring Flowers' was planned to showcase the fresh booms of the spring, through a variety of colorful blooms, and having the garden engage all the senses. Each flower was carefully selected using a mix of perennials, annuals, and flowering shrubs. Flowers such as bright tulips, fluffy daisies, and luscious lilacs were selected not only for their appealing appearance but also their ability to survive in our climate. In developing the client’s garden, one of the primary challenges was to ensure the selected plants could thrive in the property’s tachy and sandy subsoil. Our expert team consulted with the client prior to planting, ran soil tests to understand the PH consistency throughout the garden, and took the necessary time to amend the soil using organic compost, guaranteeing the plants will last and flourish for many years to come. We considered planting management and installed a drip irrigation system that saves water while still meeting the moisture requirements of the flowers. We are a conscientious gardener and eco-conscious water use whenever possible. To create a visual punch, we decided to also add natural stone walkways, inviting you to explore the flowers’ view. The natural stone for the pathways was quarried and provided as local granite that fits seamlessly into the surroundings and fulfills a durable purpose in the landscape. Ornamental grasses were added along the way, providing texture and movement and framing the colorful bloomings. The overall effect was one of stunning vistas of color and scent that enhanced the aesthetic value of the property and offered a space of serenity for the homeowners. The delighted client could not wait to share their appreciation with the transformation they had received and appreciated how the garden would be the focal point for family gatherings and a sanctuary for relaxation.
