The focal point for the was a nicely designed geometric pool which featured sharp angles as well as precise symmetry to give it a modern yet "traditional" look and feel. A travertine patio was meticulously built around the pool to connect the pool with the surroundings, giving it access from anywhere in the space; the travertine are also incredibly durable and has a wonderfully traditional look, fitting perfectly with the other site elements. To finish the look, we used a native Texas plant palette to introduce colorful flowers into the plantings and ornamental grasses to add some texture to the plant bed; which helped contrast to the water features from the pool elements and the cool tones of the surrounding stone. One of the challenges of the was the unlevel ground at the northern end of the property. Our skilled staff were able to properly regulate the landscape to provide a base for the pool and the surrounding hardscapes. We created an inviting and usable space while also educating the clients on proper drainage and functionality. Furthermore, in order to keep the plants happy and healthy while conserving water, we installed a fully automated irrigation system, epitomizing what we consider to be professionally responsible approaches. In the end, The 'Dallas Formal Geometric Pool' created a beautiful environment for the clients to relax and host gatherings. The pool with elegant elements and high-end finishes has quickly become the highlight of the home as well as the envy of the neighborhood.
