### Country Landscape by Lawns of Texas We, at Lawns of Texas, specialize in creating beautiful landscapes that fit with the environment around the yard. Located in the heart of Waco, our latest , Country Landscape shows our ability to deliver quality and creative landscapes. The specific challenge that this presented us with was how to fuse the rustic nature of the surrounding countryside with modern landscaping practices. We started with analyzing the site, studying the topography, soil characteristics and existing plants. It was important to us that the design looks beautiful but also fits with the natural surroundings to make it both practical and sustainable. We accomplish this by using native plants, as well as a selection of perennials that thrive in the local atmosphere and require little upkeep. A plant palette that included colorful wildflowers, woody perennials, and ornamental grasses ensured four seasons of color and texture. Here are a few additions: a meandering gravel path made from local, decomposed granite that encourages wandering, which integrates well into the surrounding land. Enclosed by rough timber, this perimeter sidewalk opens up from the setting to a blank stone patch of land, providing comfortable breathing space while showcasing development features and rustic patio architecture, just beside the backyard. This included a one-of-a-kind stone fire pit that the team designed the home for, as well as piece by piece stones they sourced from a quarry nearby. Not just a focal point, this centerpiece enhances outdoor experience and is ideal for chilly evenings under the stars. What we encountered while was taking place: terrain was not even, drainage was a challenge etc. But with some creative solutions including a little bit of limb bending notices inside alongside with a little bit of a rain garden towards the rear of the property to ensure water would not be managed properly, but enhanced with the property. The end product was a stunning and functional outdoor room for our Hewitt, McGregor, Robinson, Woodway, and Waco clients to enjoy.
