About This Project

The Wadsworth, OH Patio project transformed an underutilized outdoor space into an inviting and functional area perfect for entertaining and enjoying time with loved ones. The clients envisioned an outdoor living area where they could host gatherings and enjoy recorded concerts in a comfortable setting. To bring this vision to life, we designed a multi-tiered outdoor space that seamlessly blends style and practicality. Central to the design is an elegant outdoor pavilion, featuring a stunning stone fireplace that provides warmth and ambiance for evening gatherings. The pavilion is equipped with a 46" Sunbrite television, allowing for an immersive viewing experience, while a state-of-the-art sound system enhances the atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for entertaining. The structure is anchored by cedar-wrapped posts and beams, which add a touch of natural beauty and durability, while the tongue and groove pine ceiling, complete with a ceiling fan, ensures comfort on warmer days. To maximize the usability of the space, we installed awnings and screens on both the pavilion and the adjoining home, effectively extending the living area and allowing for better control over light and privacy. The Boral cultured stone patio complements the pavilion beautifully and serves as a solid foundation for the entire outdoor area. A strategically placed fire pit with easy gas ignition provides a cozy spot for conversation and relaxation, while stone planters enhance the aesthetic appeal and introduce greenery to the environment. A unique feature of this project is the installation of an outdoor urinal, discreetly surrounded by a privacy screen, which adds convenience for guests without compromising the overall design. The result is a versatile and stylish outdoor living area that not only meets the clients' needs but also elevates their home’s outdoor experience, making it an ideal setting for entertainment and leisure.
