Bay Village Landscape by the Lake Lakeside Landscape Bay Village is a completed by Brian-Kyles Landscapes of Distinction that transformed an outdoor space to balance nature and functionality. In the beautiful setting of Lorain, the began to improve views at the lakeside property while maintaining a relationship with nature. One of the prominent features of the was a custom stone patio made of locally sourced bluestone. The patio provided an elegant and accessible place for entertaining while also allowing a durable finish. The stylish fire pit provided a gathering space for seating and family to stay warm while talking under the stars. To provide boundaries on the patio, we incorporated lush, native plantings that not only looked nice, but also added to biodiversity. The choices of plants included perennials and ornamental grasses to withstand seasonal conditions and low maintenance for the landscape to thrive. We took advantage of the landscape to work with a proper drainage system that properly managed water runoff. This kept the drainage from harming the patio’s structure or plant life while maximizing the natural opportunity. The provides a nice walking path paved with stepping stones that allow visitors to walk through a calming garden with seasonal opportunities for color and texture. The path serves a purpose for visitors while providing the ability to look at nature in a convenient way. In addition, we enhanced the ambience of the outdoor space using ambient lighting to provide a subtle and stylish illumination to the landscape at night. This provided a sense of warmth and comfort. Throughout the , we provided and craftmanship to create a beautiful outdoor peace and vision for the client.
