The Tanglewood Traditional Kitchen is a remarkable embodiment of elegant design and functionality, crafted to meet the needs of a young professional couple who entertain frequently. This new construction project allowed for a thoughtful approach to the kitchen's layout, ensuring that it serves as the heart of the home, seamlessly connecting to the adjacent Family Room. The design emphasizes a harmonious flow, blending aesthetics with practical use. At the center of this stunning kitchen is the impressive 48” Professional Style Dual Fuel Range, crowned with a Custom Wood Mantle Hood that serves as a striking focal point. To the left, the 72” combination Built-in Refrigerator and Freezer is expertly integrated into the cabinetry with a Flush Inset Application, complemented by a Decorative Open Display Shelf above, perfect for showcasing cherished kitchenware. The main sink, positioned conveniently to the right of the range, enhances the cooking experience by providing easy access to essential tasks. The cabinetry is a standout feature, stained in a warm Grey tone with soft pewter glazing that adds depth and sophistication to the overall design. In contrast, the island, crafted from Rich Brown Cherry Wood, boasts decorative legs on all four ends, creating a visually appealing centerpiece. This expansive island not only serves as a gathering spot with seating for guests but also includes a secondary sink, a 30” microwave drawer, and a 30” warming drawer, ensuring that every culinary need is met. Custom Enkebol Mouldings, which mirror the grey glazed cabinetry, elegantly frame the kitchen window and contribute to the traditional design theme. The meticulous craftsmanship evident in every detail of this kitchen highlights the commitment to quality and style. Designed by Micqui McGowen and captured beautifully by photographer Miro Dvorscak, the Tanglewood Traditional Kitchen stands as a testament to the art of thoughtful design, creating a welcoming and functional space for both cooking and entertaining.
