About This Project

New Corporate Headquarters, Water Mill Warren's Nursery is proud to have completed an impressive landscape for the Corporate Headquarters in Water Mill, which respects the landscape while combining the architecture and nature. The large landscape design consists of a mix of native green and ornamental plantings selected to thrive in the local climate and enhance a corporate backdrop. The design used a variety of components, including unique, drought-resistant shrubs, perennials, and features unique-to-the-area trees that added shade and beauty during all seasons of the year. The use of different native grasses within the design added texture to the landscape while promoting wildlife and the supporting of area ecology just outside the headquarters' entrance. One of the most challenging aspects of the was the original topography and its complications with grading and drainage and, again, needed consideration to keep water from holding, but not alter the original slopes of the land. The team executed this site plan using top-of-the-line materials, which also included permeable pavers used for walkways within the space as they complemented the area while providing water management and a concrete material usable for foot traffic. The landscape also included open seating areas made from artisan stone benches and beds of plantings to welcome employees and visitors alike. Ultimately, the final, and most important, outcome was a beautiful, functional landscape that even pleased the original client - noble in quality and mindful of the environment. The Corporate Headquarters also united with the Warren's Nursery vision: great landscaping improves a nature and a space while maintaining beauty. The also serves as a case study for quality of craftsmanship, creativity, and case history of Warren's Nursery as a landscape service provider for clients in Bridgehampton, Cutchogue, East Hampton and other and other neighborhoods that inspire and hold true a breathtaking landscape.
