PJ Wine Vault

The PJ Wine Cellar project transformed an ordinary storage room into a stunning, temperature-controlled haven for wine enthusiasts. Located in Cross Plains, WI, this project began in 2015 and was carefully crafted to provide an ideal environment for the preservation and display of an impressive collection of over 900 wine bottles. Our design approach was centered around creating a rustic yet elegant atmosphere that would complement the aesthetic of the home while ensuring functionality and practicality. The design choices made for the PJ Wine Cellar reflect a keen attention to detail and a deep appreciation for the art of winemaking. We selected natural materials that enhance the rustic charm, including reclaimed wood for the shelving, which not only provides sturdy storage but also adds character and warmth to the space. The wooden racks were meticulously crafted to accommodate various bottle sizes, ensuring that each bottle is securely stored and easily accessible. The use of stone accents further enhances the rustic feel, creating a harmonious blend with the wooden elements. To maintain optimal wine storage conditions, we installed a state-of-the-art climate control system, allowing for precise temperature and humidity regulation. This technology is discreetly integrated into the design, ensuring that it does not detract from the cellar's visual appeal. Ambient lighting was carefully chosen to highlight the collection while providing a soft glow that invites relaxation and enjoyment. The overall layout of the cellar promotes an inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal space for entertaining guests or savoring a quiet moment.
