About This Project

The Tile and Shower Rescue project showcases a remarkable transformation of a shower space initially started by another contract. The homeowners, facing mounting concerns regarding the quality of the work, sought our expertise to complete the job to their satisfaction. Upon our assessment, we discovered several critical issues that necessitated a complete overhaul. The shower pan had not been pitched correctly, which is essential for proper drainage, and the materials employed were unsuitable, compromising the waterproofing integrity of the entire installation. Further inspection revealed additional problems, including improperly set tiles, with one even falling off the wall when a spacer was removed. Understanding the importance of quality craftsmanship and durability, we strategically removed all the previously installed materials to start anew. Our team installed high-quality cement board as a sturdy backing, which is crucial for moisture resistance and longevity. Next, we expertly poured a cement shower pan, ensuring the correct slope for optimal water drainage, and proceeded with a thorough waterproofing process to safeguard against leaks and future water damage. With a solid foundation in place, we carefully selected premium tiles that not only complemented the aesthetic of the bathroom but also provided lasting durability. Each tile was meticulously set with precision to create a cohesive and visually appealing design. The final outcome was a beautifully tiled shower, complete with a seamless wall and floor integration, that not only met but exceeded the homeowners' expectations. This project, completed in 2015 with a budget range of $5,001 to $7,500, stands as a testament to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
