Stone Walls, Patios & Stairways By Gardens of the Wine Country, this wonderful landscape turned a private estate in California's wine country. Our talented crew was tasked with beautifying the landscape with beautiful stone walls, patios, and stairways in the beautiful areas of Bloomfield, Calistoga, and beyond! The included artisan-grade, dry-stacked stone walls using locally quarried granite to maximize longevity and visual compatibility with the site. All the stones were picked individually and set with care into a natural rustic look that suits the surrounding rolling vineyards and gardens perfectly. Our patios and newly designed outdoor living areas make perfect spaces for entertaining and enjoying a glass of local wine. The patios were made from high-quality porcelain pavers, and they feature a modern but organic appearance that looks beautiful and can handle the elements. With radiant light installed so that the corners and surfaces of the patio spaces are fully lit, spending nights under the stars becomes pure magic. We also encountered several challenges specific to the site, including steep differentials in ground cover and changes in elevation. The stairways, which gracefully guided leads from one level to another, were built by our skilled landscapers using cutting edge techniques to ensure that they are as much of a feature as they are a safe and effective method of allowing access. Stairways lined with verdant plantings on both sides entice the eye and help keep a flow for the overall spaces within the landscape. With the end product being a stunning outdoor oasis, that exemplifies the beauty and peace of the wine country lifestyle. The final result made our client very happy and she commented on the quality of our design craftmanship to deliver a functional and beautiful balcony. This reflects the highest standards of excellence and creativity, and the attention to customer satisfaction that is the hallmark of Gardens of the Wine Country, adding grace and charm to Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa and the Healdsburg area.
