The landscape design part was an ambitious landscaping effort to create a lively, green outdoor space, combining all the features and functions that make a home beautiful and efficient. We started with the scope of current state, gap analysis, followed closely by several workshops with the client to understand how they envision the product. Completed elements of the included a pristine sod lawn, selected native plants and an ornamental stone path leading visitors through this beautiful garden. We used quality sod from local growers that is designed to stand the test of time and also grow well in the Georgetown area and environment. Soil Moisture ControlPlanting beds were composed of a mixture of drought-tolerant perennials and ornamental grasses that provide color and texture throughout the year while reducing the amount of water needed. We had some challenges with the , one of which was the topography of the ground, which was very adverse requiring some grading solutions to make it flat and fill it with people. Our experienced team handled this by ensuring adequate drainage and eliminating low spots where water could pool. A specific irrigation system was then established to water those seedlings without wasted water. Our client is delighted with the final result of the 'Gorgeous Lawns' . The abundance of verdant grass has created a splendid backdrop for community soirees and the meticulously planned trails beckon us to roam/ linger. The is a showcase of both the expected level of quality and the various sustainable practices that contributed to improved aesthetics and the local ecosystem health.
