The began by carefully assessing the existing yard, which had several challenges including uneven and poorly shaped terrain and too many plants surrounding the area to gain access. Our talented team faced those challenges by constructing designs that seamlessly wove together multiple landscaping elements. At the heart of the Gold River Backyard is a lovely multi-level patio using locally sourced natural stone formatted to be both functional and beautiful. This outdoor living space accommodates a fire pit for those great summertime evenings by the fire, in addition to seating areas that create casual settings for relaxation. There is also an overall sense of ambiance through soft lighting that accentuates the stonework and the surrounding plants when the sun goes down. In addition to the patio, we implemented naturally-sourced and drought-tolerant plants and ornamental grasses that offered year-round color and care. Sharing time with family-member wildlife was considered by adding to the plants; therefore creating a natural habitat. In addition, there is a flowing gravel path that guides visitors throughout the landscape and garden and allows for the viewing of the various plants along the way. Water management was also an important consideration. We utilized the installation of an irrigation system that provided plenty of hydration for the new plants, and was designed to conserve water as well. Combining plants that were drought-tolerant and native to the location reinforces our belief that they will thrive even during dry summer months. Ultimately, this was a great and a beautiful outcome. The end result has turned into a sanctuary and tranquil space for our client to enjoy with family and friends. The delighted client confirms that our quality of work and attention to detail has exceeded expectations once again.
