Frenchman's Reserve, Palm Beach Gardens, FL Krent Wieland Design, Inc. is thrilled to present the landscape transformation at Frenchman’s Reserve located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This luxury development required a nuanced design that worked in conjunction with the sophisticated community while remaining sympathetic to the environment. The residential landscape design was complex and used native Florida plants to create a desired palette of vibrant colors and natural textures. High qualitied materials were used with natural stone walkways and boulders throughout the landscape elements. In addition to encouraging the local wildlife that populated the area, a character application of palm trees provided both shade and privacy while integrating flowering shrubs added color and texture. While the design was complex enough, the biggest challenge that we encountered was managing existing drainage issues present on-site. We were able to implement a high-quality irrigation system and strategically placed rain gardens (and appurtenances) for drainage. While the design and installation of the rain gardens and irrigation did solve drainage issues on-site, the solution allowed for sustainable water management. The end result was a beautiful landscape that exceeded the Client's vision for the . The distinct and seamless combination of beauty and functionality made the outdoor areas inviting for residents to comfortably use and relax in the space during enjoyment and entertainment. As a result of the hours spent on detailing the fixtures during installation, we could ensure the landscape would flourish for many years to come for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
