About This Project

Delafield Walkway Quadscapes Landscaping Services LLC is excited to share the results of the Delafield Walkway, a that came together not only to create a beautiful outdoor space for our Oconomowoc client but one that redefined outdoor aesthetics for the clients whole property. The design was deliberate to create a functional and inviting pathway to connect the home to the native plants that surrounded it. The walkway was completed with durable, high-quality pavers that were sourced through local paver suppliers to provide a blend of beauty with strength. We chose warm earth tones to reflect the colors in the landscape to invoke a sense of harmony, and the pattern within the paver also added to the aesthetic of the walkway in an intricate way. To embellish the design further, we included some native plants and ornamental grasses along the pathway to create a colorful, native ecosystem embracing the walkway and providing habitat for local wildlife. One of the challenges we faced was grading the slope of the property and providing the necessary drainage to avoid water sitting on the walkway. Using inventive engineering to account for patio design and grading, the team ensured that the walkway would not only look beautiful, but would be fully functional during heavy rains. The completed Monument was an inviting, beautifully designed walkway now enhances the curb appeal of the property for the clients, allowing safe access for the family and guests. The client was very happy with the final product and the attention to detail and quality of the work was impressive.
