The Traditional Santa Ynez Kitchen renovation transformed a dated kitchen in a 1980s contemporary Spanish home in Solvang, CA, into a warm and inviting country kitchen that seamlessly blends with its picturesque surroundings. The new homeowners envisioned a space that was not only functional but also an extension of their lifestyle, prompting a complete reconfiguration of the kitchen and dining areas. This involved strategically relocating interior walls and carefully adding square footage to create a formal dining space that capitalizes on breathtaking mountain views. The design choices reflect a commitment to both aesthetics and practicality. Gone are the outdated terracotta tiles, replaced with rich dark wood floors that exude warmth and sophistication.
