About This Project

The Bathroom Rescue project was initiated to rectify the significant issues arising from a previous contractor's inadequate tile installation, which had resulted in a severely compromised shower area. The original tile was affixed directly to drywall without the necessary backerboard or waterproofing measures, creating a precarious situation where water intrusion could lead to substantial structural damage. Recognizing the potential for disaster, our team moved swiftly to address these shortcomings upon discovering the crooked walls during the glass door installation by Rex Glass. The scope of the project involved a complete demolition of the flawed wall system, which proved relatively straightforward due to the poor craftsmanship of the initial installation. We meticulously removed all existing materials to ensure a clean slate for the new construction. Our skilled craftsmen then installed a robust backerboard, specifically designed for wet environments, ensuring that the new tile would be securely anchored and resistant to moisture. For the design choices, we opted for high-quality ceramic tiles that not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also offer durability and ease of maintenance.
