About This Project

The Pool Deck & Outhouse project in Huntersville, NC, showcases a unique solution to the challenge of impervious restrictions that prevented the installation of traditional concrete decking around the new pool. To create an inviting and functional outdoor space, we designed a beautiful composite deck that seamlessly hugs the contours of the freeform pool, providing ample room for relaxation and entertainment. The selected Fiberon deck boards are not only visually appealing, with their rich "Ipe" color that evokes the warmth of exotic hardwoods, but they are also low-maintenance, ensuring long-lasting enjoyment without the burden of extensive upkeep. Craftsmanship was paramount in this project, as we meticulously installed the composite decking to ensure a smooth and safe surface for all users. The deck design emphasizes an open layout, allowing for easy movement around the pool while accommodating various outdoor activities. This thoughtful design choice enhances the overall aesthetic of the backyard, transforming it into a resort-like retreat perfect for family gatherings or intimate evenings. An innovative feature of this outdoor living space is the custom-built outhouse, strategically positioned to offer convenience for guests of all ages. This thoughtful addition serves as a practical solution for preventing wet feet from tracking through the house, thereby maintaining a clean and comfortable indoor environment.
