The Historic St. Matthews Home, a remarkable pre-Civil War Era farmhouse nestled in the heart of St. Matthews, underwent a meticulous renovation process that spanned several years, beginning in 2012. The project was driven by a vision to preserve the home's rich history while enhancing its functionality and aesthetic appeal. A significant focus of the renovation was the transformation of an existing bedroom and the second-floor bath into an exquisite master bath, featuring a custom-designed keeping room that seamlessly integrates with the farmhouse's original charm. The master bath is characterized by its elegant design choices, which include high-quality materials such as reclaimed wood, vintage-style tiles, and modern fixtures that pay homage to the home's historical roots.
