In the serene setting of Deerfield, IL, we undertook a transformative project in 2015 that beautifully combined functionality with the inviting charm of a bed and breakfast. The Bed and Breakfast-Inspired Kitchen was designed for clients who cherish the cozy atmosphere of their travels and desired to replicate that warmth in their own home. Central to this design was the creation of a dedicated space adjacent to the kitchen work area, specifically for preparing tea and coffee. This involved the installation of a stylish console table, thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary supplies, ensuring that every cup brewed is a delightful experience. The design choices made throughout the project were intentional and reflective of the transitional style. A harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary elements was achieved through the careful selection of materials and finishes. Soft, neutral color palettes were chosen to create a calming environment, while the subtle incorporation of wood accents added a touch of warmth and character.
