The Aerialist Farmhouse is a unique embodiment of personalized design, crafted for a client whose passion for aerial arts inspired every aspect of this stunning home. Located in Oxford, MI, the project commenced in 2018 and was carefully developed with a budget range of $200,001 to $500,000. The design integrates the functionality of a modern lifestyle with the artistic flair that the client brings as a professional aerialist. At the heart of the Aerialist Farmhouse lies a breathtaking foyer that serves as a showcase for the client’s aerial equipment. An observation deck, strategically positioned to overlook the expansive basement, creates an inviting and dramatic entryway. This open space, descending ten feet below, is designed for both practical training and artistic display. When not in use, the vibrant silks and rings are elegantly gathered above, transforming them into a colorful centerpiece that enhances the home’s aesthetic appeal. The architectural choices reflect a blend of traditional farmhouse elements with contemporary finishes. The exterior features classic wooden siding, complemented by large, welcoming windows that flood the interior with natural light. Inside, the craftsmanship is evident in the meticulous attention to detail, from the custom cabinetry to the handcrafted railings that lead to the observation deck.
