This 7 million dollar included artificial oak trees that looked lifelike, and decayed like real wood to maximize the integration of the trees into the aviary environment. We have premium UV well man-made material that will endure the blazing sunshine of Florida and demand only minimal maintenance. The trees were custom-made including wrapping bark with textured construction paper and real branches, adding aesthetic value to the aviary. A challenge was ensuring that the trees could hold everything together while also looking organic. Utilizing our precision engineering team, we were able to safely secure the trees, for both their safety as well as birds and the environment. Although not strictly part of the aviary itself, the vibrant native plantings that surround the aviary provide a natural habitat for the birds as well as a beautiful compliment to the for the client. The end result was breathtakingly captivating sanctuary that was once a fairly ordinary aviary. The client was thrilled with the marriage of art and function for a space that not only beautifies their property but also nurtures their birds. This is a monument of iDigPonds.
