྘Wood Springs by Artistic Stoneworks Located in a central area of Colleyville, the 'Wood Springs' is a true representation of the top craftsmanship and artistry for which Artistic Stoneworks is known. We took a backyard that was just plain grass and created an outdoor oasis for the great folks in Colleyville, Fort Worth, Grapevine, Keller, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Trophy Club and Westlake. This had beautiful paths of natural stone, feature beds and a water feature that served as the focal point of the landscape. Hardscaping was accomplished using locally sourced Texas limestone that blends into the landscape while adding lasting durability. The colourful native plants, specifically chosen for their low maintenance and drought resilience, add beauty and are beneficial to local wildlife. A major challenge we encountered was the natural topography of the site we had sloped sections as well as flat sections. Our team designed a multi-level garden that minimized drainage concerns and provided attractive topographical levels. It broke the terrace into sections, which not only helped to control possible water runoff but also allowed for clear planting areas in the decorative designs of the ground, both functional and beautiful. The final outcome of the 'Wood Springs' is a peaceful place that touches all the senses. Our clients are now left with an outdoors serviceable in all weathers for parties, relaxation and family barbecues. An example of the type of work Artistic Stoneworks commits to with every landscaping , this uniquely blends hardscape and softscape elements. We had some very happy clients who loved the change, especially since it increased their property value and created a beautiful escape in their backyard.
