The Boise Bench Bathroom Remodels represent a remarkable transformation of two distinct yet equally cramped bathrooms within a midcentury-modern home. Initially approached to revamp the upstairs bathroom in 2015, our team meticulously assessed the space to address its limitations. The original layout posed challenges with insufficient light and functionality, leading us to create a design that not only maximized space but also infused contemporary elegance. In the upstairs bathroom, we introduced a lighter color palette, featuring soft whites and subtle grays, to enhance the sense of openness. Custom cabinetry was crafted from high-quality materials, providing ample storage without crowding the space. We incorporated a walk-in shower with frameless glass doors, allowing natural light to flow through while maintaining a modern aesthetic. The use of large format tiles on the walls and floor added a seamless look, further amplifying the feeling of spaciousness. Following the success of the upstairs remodel, the same family sought our expertise for the downstairs bathroom, which presented a similar set of challenges. We carried forward the design language established in the upstairs bath, ensuring a cohesive style throughout the home. A floating vanity was selected to create an illusion of increased floor space, paired with chic, contemporary fixtures that blend style and function. The addition of clever lighting solutions, including recessed lights and illuminated mirrors, not only brightened the dark corners but also gave the room a welcoming ambiance. Both remodels highlight our commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail, achieved through a collaborative approach with the homeowners. The outcome is two stunning bathrooms that are not only practical and functional but also exude a sense of tranquility and modern sophistication. Each space now reflects the family's needs while showcasing our ability to turn cramped, dark areas into beautifully designed retreats.
