Nestled in the vibrant landscape of Las Vegas, the MOR (Mandarin Oriental Residences) stands as a beacon of luxury and sophistication, designed to elevate the living experience of its residents. This project, with a budget exceeding $2,000,000, embodies a seamless blend of contemporary elegance and traditional Asian aesthetics, reflecting the rich cultural heritage that inspires its design. As the Lead Designer and Project Designer, I collaborated closely with Kay Lang + Associates to create a Sales Center that not only showcases the residential offerings but also serves as an immersive experience for potential buyers. The project scope encompassed the creation of an exquisite Asian-inspired bathroom, a focal point that captures the essence of tranquility and refinement. Every detail was meticulously considered, from the choice of materials to the craftsmanship that brings this vision to life. The bathroom features luxurious finishes such as polished marble countertops and custom cabinetry, all designed to create a serene atmosphere. The use of natural light was strategically implemented, incorporating expansive windows that invite the outdoors in, enhancing the overall sense of spaciousness. Design choices were driven by a desire to harmonize traditional elements with modern functionality. Soft, neutral color palettes were selected to evoke a sense of calm, while intricate tile work adds a layer of sophistication and artistry.
