Fireplaces by Thomas Flint Landscape Design & Development Located in the suburbs, the 'Fireplaces' by Thomas Flint Landscape Design & Development exemplifies quality workmanship and forward-thinking design, serving a wide variety of areas, including Englewood, Glen Rock, Mahwah, and Basking Ridge. Our collaboration with the client liberally transformed a conventional outdoor area into an extraordinary gathering place. We designed an amazing custom fireplace from locally sourced stone that fits the landscape in which it was built. Each stone was personally chosen for its color and texture, allowing for a meaningful connection with the environment. Agreat compliment to the fireplace itself, we added a patio of pavers that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. One of the primary challenges for the overall plant design was the slope of the site itself. Our innovative landscape architects designed multiple tiers of seating to help improve the visual experience of the site, and the comfort of any guests. Ultimately, we ended up with a cozy and inviting feeling to entertain family and friends around the fire while cherishing the memories of time spent together. To add more greenery to the design, we installed planting beds planted with seasonal flowering plants that provide continued color and vibrancy throughout the seasons. This also creates a more productive ecosystem within the outdoor experience. In short, the outcome of the was a beautiful outdoor venue that exceeded the expectations of our client that blends function and artistry. The fireplace acts as the focal point, a symbol of warmth and community, to the surroundings. We appreciate partnering with our clients in bringing a vision to fruition that will provide enjoyment for many years to come, as it serves as an engaging experience.
