, Woodland by Allin Landscaping Deep in the heart of Nashville, Allin Landscaping created the Woodland , which turned a boring backyard into a serene and natural escape. The lively communities of Nashville, Brentwood, and Belle Meade, with our vision to construct a verdant open area that would blend with the atmosphere around it. A diversity of local climate suitable native plants including ferns, ground cover such as wildflowers and ornamental grasses were utilized throughout the . We then also designed a winding path composed of locally sourced flagstone that leads to an area to sit ideal for family hangouts or quiet moments of reflection. The meandering path design which mimics trails often found among the trees allows for a natural and functional feel. The yard was a huge slope that presents a challenge all of it right to equalize it in the hill side house. Our professional crew created a series of terraced garden beds that solved these problems and introduced interesting levels and layers into the landscape. Reclaimed wood was used to make the retaining walls that tie into the land while adding structure and rustic appeal. We installed subtle landcape lighting to uplight the natural features of the garden and create a warm, inviting glow at night. The client enjoys the beauty, function, and environmental function of the design which weaves together to create a beautiful tapestry of a landscape. Every aspect of Woodland showcases our commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The client was really pleased with the transformation, thanking Wringford Down for their outdoor oasis, in which they can reflect their love of nature and escape the normal day to day life. Woodland is a fine example of our strive for perfection at Allin Landscaping where we turn visions into reality.
