This landscaping reflects a complete design of sophistication and usability. Comprising over 2,500 square feet, this sanctuary incorporates a combination of local plantings, custom hardscape, and sustainable landscaping that welcomes the homeowner's family and guests to enjoy their outdoor space as a relaxing escape or place to entertain. The began with an extensive environmental analysis of the site, where our team could address the unique conditions of the slopes and sunlight exposure. Selecting plants, such as ornamental grasses and flowering perennials, that survive and thrive in this specific area ensured the landscape and site would not only look beautiful but be viable long-term. Locally sourced stones and pavers served our purpose well in creating pathways and patios without straying too far from the coastal character of the East End. The pond, which our team custom-designed into a water feature, serves as a focal point throughout the property, which is complete with a waterfall that offers soothing sounds while attracting local wildlife. The water feature served as both a focal point and functional element of the ecosystem within the garden. The outdoor kitchen area, which features a grill and bar built into the space, also serves as both a functional area to host summer entertainments or relax with a warm beverage. The three seating options made of natural wood and stone provide intimate seating for any occasion while gazing at the lush surroundings, which include an extraordinary view from the property. Like most s, the weather and unforeseen constraints imposed on the given timelines forced our team to redirect focus, however our commitment to quality and a client's expectations always assisted in completing a beautiful final product. As with every we complete, the completion of the backyard retreat will provide the family with another layer of aesthetics and opportunities for entertainment.
