This remarkable kitchen remodel successfully integrates the industrial aesthetic of a loft condo, creating a space that is both functional and visually striking. Designed by Denis, the project, located in Middleton, WI, commenced in 2015 and remains a testament to modern craftsmanship within a budget range of $50,001 to $75,000. The design approach centers around the interplay of textures, utilizing grey stained maple cabinets along the perimeter to complement the natural rough sawn oak veneer featured on the island. This choice not only enhances visual appeal but also establishes a warm, inviting atmosphere within the industrial framework. To elevate the textural experience, two distinctive countertop materials were selected. The perimeter showcases a marble-looking quartz, specifically Caesarstone in London Fog, which is also extended to the backsplash, providing a sophisticated contrast to the rustic elements. The island, on the other hand, is topped with Neolith in Beton, a concrete-inspired surface that further amplifies the industrial vibe. The integration of stainless steel pipe legs for the island, coupled with vintage casters and black plumbing fittings, contributes to the overall industrial character, while stainless steel appliances and a modern faucet lend a contemporary edge to the space. A standout feature of the remodel is the custom-made floating shelves crafted from the same natural oak veneer as the island. These shelves not only enhance the aesthetic with their updated barn board look but also provide practical storage and visual interest. The meticulous craftsmanship is evident throughout, particularly in the 3-inch drop mitred edge of the Neolith countertop, which seamlessly ties the elements together. This kitchen remodel is a harmonious blend of style and practicality, embodying the essence of an industrial loft while offering modern conveniences and a unique design perspective.
