Rain Garden by Executive Landscape Services, LLC Today we are excited to showcase our latest , The Rain Garden, designed specifically for a residential site in Central Kentucky by Executive Landscape Services, LLC In addition to adding to the beauty of the property, this new landscaping was designed to help with stormwater management, making it an environmentally sustainable . The Rain Garden boasts an impressive variety of native plants selected for their moisture tolerances. Unique beds bursting with brilliant Black-eyed Susans, tall Joe Pye Weed and sturdy Switchgrass are coordinated to both visually please and absorb excess land soaking rains. Permeable pavers surrounding the garden aid in drainage and allowing the rainwater to penetrate to where it can truly do good and to prevent run-off and erosion. The most difficult area of focus was where the site had existing drainage issues which needed to be accounted for in the planning and grading of the site. Rain Garden Our team used techniques used to redirect water so that the Rain Garden would work well. We also added organic mulch and a stratum-soil system to create an ideal environment for plants to thrive and retain water. In the end, the result was more than our client was likely imagined, the once neglected space is now a lush habitat for native animals whilst giving them a new view of this small chunk of nature to recharge and relax in.
