The Old Orchard Beach Condo Renovation is a stunning transformation that redefines coastal living in Portland, Maine. Originally built in the 1980s, this three-bedroom, two-bath condo underwent a complete facelift to enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal, creating an ideal getaway and future retirement home for its owner. Collaborating with Jackson Builders and Paul White Flooring, the renovation process was meticulously planned and executed to align with the vision of JML Casual Home Design. A significant aspect of the renovation involved redefining the spatial dynamics of the condo. The kitchen was opened up to the living room, fostering a sense of openness and connectivity. This design choice not only maximized the living space but also ensured that natural light flowed seamlessly throughout the area. Additionally, the wall separating the first bedroom was removed to create a versatile office/reading room/guest room. This new space features sheer-covered French doors, which provide both privacy for guests and a stylish design element. The incorporation of a Murphy bed enhances functionality, allowing the room to serve multiple purposes without sacrificing comfort. The renovation included the installation of new flooring, carefully selected to complement the beach-style aesthetic. Updated lighting fixtures were chosen to enhance the overall ambiance, while the kitchen was outfitted with high-quality cabinets and elegant granite countertops.
