This beautifully balances modernism and nature, creating an outdoor escape that welcomes relaxation and entertainment. The heart of the is a carefully crafted patio paved with high-quality Bluestone pavers, ensuring both functionality and sophistication for outdoor living. We installed a diversity of native plants and ornamental grasses around the patio to add aesthetic interest while conserving resources. The retaining walls are built from stone locally sourced from the surrounding area to not only incorporate a natural aspect to the surroundings but also to help with the regional appeal that our coast can promote. The sloped nature of the backyard was one of the big difficulties we encountered, as we had to grade the land and figure out drainage solutions to make sure water would flow where we wanted it to without washing anything away. We expertly overcame these challenges to construct and install a French drain system that both blends into the landscape and handles water runoff efficiently. Your ends with a bespoke fire pit complete with seating to allow everyone to cozy up around the fire at night. Thoughtful lighting design brings the landscape to life in the evenings, extending enjoyment of the space well past sundown. The resultant cohesive outdoor space not only surpassed the expectations of the client but also strikes a splendid balance between beauty and function. L. B.
