Maine Lawns by Lawn Dawg Right in the midst of New England 'Maine Lawns' honors Lawn Dawg as shining star in landscaping. Once a suburban lot this transformed into a vibrant outdoor space serving communities such as Amherst, Nashua, and Portsmouth. There were a few things working against our team from the beginning, like rough terrain and the short growing season. However, with careful planning we were aware of some native plants that could grow in the local climate which would be sustainable and beautiful at the same time. The reveal a property where brilliant green carpets of grass and color-coordinated beds of seasonal blossoms, along with stone pathways have all developed in concert with one another. We used sustainable and durable materials, such as granite slabs from a nearby quarry for the hardscaping and organic mulch to retain moisture and improve soil biology. A practical irrigation system further demonstrates our eco-conscious ethos, providing each plant enough care with minimum waste of water. The final product was a beautiful outdoor area that added curb appeal to the property as well as a peaceful escape for the homeowners. It was so beautifully done that the client was so happy that functional landscaping features like seating and even decorative lighting were blended nicely into the environment, where family and friends could share the atmosphere during gatherings. Maine Lawns is the embodiment of Lawn Dawg's commitment to quality work, detail-focused environmental landscape solutions, and as a marquee , one which is harmonious with the surrounding natural landscape of the area.
