The Design & Build Team Thomas Flint Landscape Design & Development completed the "The Design & Build Team" to showcase the best of landscape design and construction. We serve homeowners in Englewood, Glen Rock, Mahwah, Oakland, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, Hillsdale, Waldwick, Alpine, Bernardsville, Basking Ridge, Mendham, Harding Township, Far Hills, Bedminster, and Chatham. The property presented a detailed landscape planning session with the clients to better understand their vision. Particular attention was given to the property for its slope, which would ultimately require understanding of proper drainage and stability for construction. Here, high-quality materials, including locally sourced stone, were used to build retaining walls, use of premium hardwood for custom decking, and drought-tolerant plantings for the region. This landscape included a multi-level patio area with natural flagstone to allow the transition from inside to outside, custom-built pond with a water feature for wildlife and place of beauty, and native plantings throughout the property intended for biodiversity and color. Our team managed the weather challenges while constructing the property to stay within our timelines, and provide quality work. Once completed, the outdoor space became functional with design and aesthetics that blended modern standards with responsible landscaping to create outdoor living space for the homeowners the now consider an extension of their home.
