This involved the design and installation of a large in-ground pool, paired with the carpentry of a carefully landscaped outdoor environment to improve the aesthetics and usability of the back yard. The beautiful in-ground pool features a modern geometric shape that melds seamlessly with the natural contours of the property, and utilizes durable and premium quality materials of natural stone pool coping and pebble finish with shimmer, standing up to the wishes of time. The pool area also features a large deck built from composite materials ideal for slip resistance and blending both style and safety. Key components of landscaping included native plant material that boasted resilience to the Maryland climate for low maintenance while providing vibrant color and texture throughout the seasons. Ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs were also used to provide privacy and create a serene environment. A custom-built retaining wall from local stone was not only visually interesting, it assisted in managing the slope of the yard that helped to alleviate erosion. Our team encountered grading and drainage issues during construction, however our trained installation team was able to manage those issues and provide acceptable water flow and pool operation. With attentiveness to detail, skilled workmanship and good communication, we overcame all of those issues in a timely manner without any disruption to budget or timeframe.. The final product provided our client with a backyard that exceeded expectations.
